Margaret Ziesman

Age 93, of Lansing, passed away May 5, 2011.  She was born February 9, 1918, in Lansing.  Margaret married Fred Ziesman in 1937, and he preceded her in death in 1982.  She had been a member of Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church for 74 years.

Surviving are:  son, Fred (Linda) Ziesman of Mason; daughter, Janet (Lynn) Gunthorpe of Houghton Lake; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2011, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with The Rev. Paul J. Lindloff officiating.  Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-5 p.m. Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church in memory of Margaret Ziesman.
