Frank Hospodor

Age 92, of Holt, Michigan, passed away March 23, 2015, in Eaton Rapids. He was born October 2, 1922, the son of Steve and Katherine Hospodor.

Frank was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Africa during WWII; he later worked at Oldsmobile retiring after 34 years. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Buck Reasoner American Legion Post 238, VFW 701, and the Lansing Liederkranz Club. Frank loved to travel, go to the casino, and play Euchre with his friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry and son-in-law Gilbert Boettcher; an honorary daughter, Joli Reinecke; a sister, Mary Knapp; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

On July 23, 2014, Dorothy, his wife of 66 years, preceded him in death.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to our dear friend Ginny Dymond; McLaren Hospice staff, Chiara, RN, Kim, Carol, and Mary; and Island City staff, Annette, LPN.

The memorial service for Frank will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at the Lansing Liederkranz Club, 5828 Pennsylvania Ave., Lansing, MI. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Buck Reasoner American Legion Post 238 or McLaren Hospice. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
