Glenn “Bud” Bodell
Bud was born to Laura and Glenn Bodell on January 7, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio and passed away in Lansing, MI on Friday, August 29, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen Jane, and his brother, Carl in WWII. Bud is survived by his daughter, Sheree Kay (Bodell) Ritchie of East Lansing, MI, and son Scott Lee (Kathy) Bodell and grandchildren Caroline and Patrick of Lapeer, MI.
Bud was a 1941 graduate of Lansing Eastern High School. He served three years in the U.S. Army in Wisconsin and Calcutta, India during WWII. He was a 1949 graduate of Michigan State University and was employed by Central Trust Co., American State Bank and First of America Bancorp for thirty-two years, subsequently for eight years with First Interstate Bank and Wells Fargo Bank of Los Angeles, California, retiring in 1988.
Bud has requested that there be no visitation or memorial service. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

I realize this note is 2 years after the passing of your Dad. My Dad, Eldon Tibbits aka. Birdie, always considered your Dad his oldest and best friend. I just found out that your Dad had passed within the last week. My Dad passed away in 2004, but I know he would have wanted me to pass along our condolences. I know how hard is to lose your Dad and how much you miss him. God Bless.
