Both my husband and myself were students of Mrs. Yanz. He in Latin 62/63 and French 64/65 for me. We recently spoke of our classes and her and have fond memories of those days. Please accept our sympathy for your loss.

I only knew Mrs. Yanz a short time as I helped her keep her beautiful home neat and clean after her recent illness. ( Her thoughtful children expressing she might want to take a break from housework. ) I’m so sorry for your loss. I pray that God enfolds you in His comforting arms at this especially sad time. It’s great you got to taste those special chocolate cookies she made at holiday times, they’re wonderful !!

To our cousins Linda, Jim, Mary, and Jerry,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. It is very difficult to lose your mother, no matter what her age. We were all very blessed to share the company of our mothers for so many years. May you find comfort and cherish the memories you have as a family.
Love,

I fondly remember growing up on Foster Street. I remember going over to Mary and Linda’s house after school for warm homemade bread with butter. It melted in my mouth. I thought that was the most delicious bread I had ever tasted. I also remember my mom (Rachel) and Marj on both ends of the jump rope, so us kids could keep jumping. Their arms never got tired. What fun we had!

May God comfort you and be with you.
