Jean Doris Reichenbach
Mrs. Jean Doris Reichenbach, age 88, of Blairsville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Stonehenge Assisted Living following an extended illness. Mrs. Reichenbach was born on Feb. 1, 1926 in Lancaster, PA, the daughter of the late Vernie Kern and the late Vergie Houch Kern. Before her retirement, Jean had been a Registered Nurse for over twenty years. She enjoyed going to church and loved playing Bridge.
She was a very loving, caring and kind mother, sister and grandmother and was a friend to many. Jean was preceded in death by her son, Roger Reichenbach in 1971. Mrs. Reichenbach was of the Christian faith.
Surviving Mrs. Reichenbach are one daughter Susan Rahauser of Blairsville, one son, James Reichenbach of Bath, MI, one sister, Arlene Steckbeck of Lancaster, PA, two grandchildren, Sterling and Hunter Reichenbach, many other relatives and friends also survive.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014, at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing, MI.
