Margaret Joyce Haker

Age 91, of Holt, MI, passed away June 15, 2014. She was born November 16, 1922, in Lansing, MI. She was the first woman cab driver in Lansing, a life member of the VFW, a private detective and owned her own business “Joyce’s Delivery.”

She is survived by 10 children, Gary Smythe, Roxanne (Dave) Shull, Rob (Robin) Pullman, Ione (Fred) Dryer, Becky (Alan) Watson, Sandi Gilchrist, Bill Haker, Chuck Haker and Mike Haker, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 children, Linda Bahmer and Douglas Smythe, and her mother Frances Parson.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at North Cemetery in Lansing, MI.
