Being a caregiver, helping Ruth through the last 2 years of her life as we know it was a life changing experience for me. Ruth never complained or murmured. She was content to just let life go by while she watched her game shows on television. Knowing Ruth was knowing one of the most positive people I have ever met. It was an honor to pray with her. She WILL be missed greatly because of the impression she left behind. Brian and Mary, please always know how much she loved you as it was evident in how she spoke of you. There’s a lot of wonderful memories for sure.

Brian and Mary, you have lost a precious mother. We pray you will find strength and support in knowing many friends are praying for you during this time of loss. Even though you have already experienced anticipatory grief, knowing Ruth would soon be going to Heaven, rest assured this is only a temporary separation and the next time you’re with your precious mother, she will be well and vibrant and glad to see you once again. This is our hope. You are loved, by our Lord, and Dave and Joy Russ.
