I miss you very much dad, but I know you are happy and free of discomfort. You lived a wonderful long life filled with many travels and experiences; from owning motor homes and snowmobiles, to airplanes. You gave all five of us a wonderful childhood and we never wanted for anything. You were a hard working man who set an example for all who knew you. Now you are with your family once again. God speed and I will see you again. I love you dad. Visit me in my dreams.

My condolences to the Pittman family. I am a daughter of the late Stanley Pittman of Lower Lance Cove, Random Island, NFLD. My grandfather is the late James Pittman. I may of met some of you when I was growing up. I do remember Uncle. Arron. Always went to his house for cookies. I just wanted you all to know my prayers and thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. Lean on the lord and each other and keep your memories deep inside of your heart. God Bless.

Our condolences to the Pittman family. Your father worked with our father, William Rogers, many years ago in the building industry. My brothers and sisters remember your father fondly as he took great pride in giving us a lesson every time we were around him. Our father was very proud of your father as a friend and an extremely talented craftsman. Dad said there was no one that could do masonry work with the art of your dad.
We are so sorry for your loss.

My prayers and thoughts are with those who were closest to Uncle Walter. I am the daughter of Elsie (Pittman) Leawood, who is the daughter of Walter’s brother, Lester. I only met Uncle Walter a few times during his visits to Newfoundland, but I very much enjoyed those times. We shared a number of common interests, but the one that is most vivid in memory is the photos of his stained glass work that he brought to share with me. He was very talented. A few years back Lawrence came to visit too. I hope to cross paths with him again someday. Would love to hear more stories of his travels and of his memories of his Dad.

Our condolences to Aunt Alma and family. Uncle Walter’s brother, Lester, was my father. He was killed in WW2 when I was 2 years old. I never knew my father but Uncle Walter always told me if there was anything he could do for me, all I had to do was ask. It made me feel very secure after my grandfather, Aaron, his father, died. Rest in peace Uncle Walter. God bless.
