We are saddened with the news of the loss of your loved one. Sandi was a GREAT friend. I had the pleasure of working with Sandi side by side, for over 4 years. And although we were not in the best working conditions, she managed to show up every day, with a smile on her face …… and helped me to get through the work day. I will never forget the time when she came to work just after her car accident / surgery …… unable to fix her own hair. One of the girls had put her hair in rollers the night before …… and her hair stuck out all over the place. As she walked in the office, she turned to us and said “Go ahead and say it ….. I look like I stuck my finger in a light socket. Get your laughs out now.” LOL Sandi and I shared many laughs, as well as tears. She was always very supportive of our family, especially when Steve deployed overseas. I always enjoyed phone calls from her …… just to “check in” and let me know how much she cared. To Heather and Brittany …… your mom was BEAUTIFUL. She was so PROUD of the two of you ….. sure there were times when she expressed frustration or worry, just as any mom would do …… but she believed in you, and loved you both very much. To “mom” …… she spoke of you often, and expressed how lucky she was to have you as a mother. Thank you for all of the nice gestures you did for the office …… sending “treats” around the holidays. And I especially thank you for your Strawberry Pie you sent for my birthday! In closing – I grew up without religion in my life. My parents did not teach us ….. nor did we attend church. I just recently accepted the Lord in to my heart, and found my faith ….. and as hard and unexpected as this may be, for all of us …. I find comfort in knowing that she was in our lives for a reason ….. and is up in Heaven shining down on us. She will be missed dearly. God Bless.
