Hello, I met Rebecca way back in 2008, at the Hilton Leader-In-Training conference in LA. No one of this group knew each other but Rebecca and I became fast friends. She was so welcoming and had an open heart. We stuck together like glue those 3 days, supporting each other with all the Hilton information and training we were receiving. It was a comfort to have a friend during that conference. We lost touch over the years (but stayed Facebook friends) and last year I noticed that she was battling cancer. I reached out to her, just to try to offer some words of comfort. I, myself, lost my dear sister to cancer at the young age of 30 years old. She wrote me back a lovely and long response. I thought I wrote back, but looking at my Facebook messages yesterday after I saw the sad news, it looks like I did not. I am heartbroken. You raised a wonderful woman, who touched many lives. May she rest peacefully in Heaven with my sister, our forever angels now. God bless your family. With love from Hawaii, Jessica Heath

Larry and Cathy – I prayed I would never have to send a condolence to a friend or family that lost a child. I lost my son a couple years ago. Garrick and Rebecca were the same age. My heart is broken for you and my mind is full of continual thoughts and prayers for you and Alex. Hold on to each other during this time. It’s OK to be mad. Time does heal…yet it takes time (and you never completely heal). I know she was a beautiful person inside and out having the two of you as parents. She is with you all now and forever. May God be with you all. Our children are without pain and in a better place. It’s us here on earth that need the love, prayers and support during this time.
With all my love! Jamie
