Maureen Elizabeth Rachel Fritzler

Went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 23, 2015. She passed peacefully in her sleep. We all have different things we loved her for and will remember her by, but all can agree that she was a truly passionate loving individual who would do anything for anybody. She passed far before any of us were ready at the young age of 50. However, in those short 50 years, she loved hard and played harder.

It’s difficult beyond words for those close loved ones she’s left behind, her loving daughters, Kaitlyn and Adrianna Smith; beloved grandkids, Noah and Avery Schieberl; and of course the father of her children, devoted life partner, Clark Smith. She also left behind two loving sisters, Theresa and Maggi, her beloved younger brother, John, and father James Fritzler. Preceding her in passing were her sisters and dear friends, Lori and Kate; her brother Michael; nephew and godson, Juston; nephew, Michael; and her dear mother, Frances Mary Fritzler.

We will miss Molly more than words can say; her beautiful smile, sparkling eyes, kind and generous soul and of course her delicious cooking which she loved to share with all. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for the family during this devastating time. God Bless, thank you Lord for bringing one of your most beautiful and special souls back home.

The memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Luncheon immediately following at The Light House Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to The Light House Chapel.

that was beautifully written and special thought was put into every word. Molly was one of my very first friends and we went thru ALOT together. From rooming together at MSU for Upward Bound, to enjoying our kids birthday celebrations every year. Our kids were so close in age we had much fun!!! As I get older, and experience more and more funerals … This passing had affected me the most. I’m glad that Molly had so many to greet her in heaven, including my mother and father; both of whom loved her very much. I will always cherish our bumpy friendship and love her FOREVER. RIP Maureen.

I remember playing for hours on end with my cousins when I was a kid. Aunt Molly always there making us laugh, telling us to go outside, getting us snacks. … Happy memories with her and my dad sitting and talking and laughing at grandma’s dining room table. .. Happy times. Love you aunt Molly! Rest in peace.

Molly you were a beautiful person with a heart of gold. We first met at catechism and later at Harry Hill High. It astonishes me as more of our friends find their way to heaven. Peace be to you and your family. Know that you are still with us and live in our hearts. God Bless; until we meet again.
