Margaret Hazel Wawro

Age 96, of Holt, MI, formerly of Redford, MI, passed away July 27, 2014. She was born June 14, 1918, in Detroit, MI, daughter of the late Frederick and Rose Zimmel.

She is survived by her son, Raymond (Maria) Wawro, Jr.; granddaughters, Rachel and Leah; and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, Sr. and her sister Rose Marie Sosnowski.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Richard A. Osebold at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 1, 2014, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 12100 Beech Daly Rd., Redford, MI. Rite of Committal will follow in St. Hedwig Catholic Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holt Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center.
