I love you Dad and miss you already. I know I told you it was OK to go and we would be alright. I just want you to know that we are. We are glad you are at peace and pain free. We are glad you are with the Lord and with all our loved ones. You all save a place, I will be there some day but in the meantime I have a lot of living to do. Send me a sign once in a while so I know you are looking down. Your oldest daughter.

Uncle Lee I will miss you so much. You were always there for me whether it was just for a get away or if I needed help fixing my first car. You made sure all of us girls knew how to perform the basics in taking care of our cars; ie. Checking the oil, changing a tire or filling the windshield wipers. I will never forget your call to church on Sunday mornings. Rest in Peace Uncle Lee and I know I will see you again in a better place. I Love You.

I have so many great childhood memories of both your Dad and your Mom and our times growing up together in the neighborhood. I am sorry for your loss. As a fellow Christian, there is comfort in knowing your Dad believed without a doubt and is at peace with God in heaven. It still makes it tough to go on with our life here without them. My prayers for all of you.

Working for Lee was one of my best experiences in life. He was a great teacher, very patient, and always supportive. A great man. I know he’s looking down here now, so he knows I haven’t forgotten, 165234612543. Firing order of a Seagrave V-12. (He made me memorize it) Looking forward to hearing all the old stories when we meet again. God bless you and your family.E

My condolences to the Leyrer family on the passing of the patriarch of the family, Lee Leyrer. I have know Lee for almost twenty years. He is a man that loved his family and wanted the best for all of them. His home was always open to me and my children and I was always loved like a member of the family. Spending time at Lee’s home was a peaceful place and many times I’d find myself asleep on the couch.
We debated many topics and while we didn’t always agree I learned lifelong lessons that I have taken with me. I know life hadn’t been the same since losing Bev, but you soldiered on. Rest in Peace daddy Leyrer. And thank you the time that I was able to spend with you.
