Mom,
You never would step into the spot light you so deserved but now you are center stage and it’s time to Shine!
You leave with us loving and cherished memories for that no one can take from us. You will be missed but I know that you were met by many of our past love ones and I know that they are all revealing in your arrival and now can share again in your warmth and glow that you always brought to any event. As I told Kathy and I told you throughout these past few days, This Is Not Good Bye But Will See You Soon.
Mom Thank you for the many things you provided and lessons taught. Enjoy your freedom from all your pains and say Hi to everyone for me.
Love you always and thank you for the gift of life you gave me.
Your eldest son, Gary

Joy Mom
Where do I even begin, Even though God brought you in my life only 7 months ago I have come to love you as a Friend and Mom.
You are the most unselfish person I know!
I can’t begin to express how much it means to me the long talks we had and the time we had spent together.
You gave so much of yourself during my surgery and recovery.
I will miss picking up the phone and calling you at anytime.
I know you are Singing and Dancing up in Heaven with no pain!
Thank you for the memories.
Love you
Sherri

Oh Sweet Joy.
I already miss you And, I am only beginning to comprehend what that means; the sound of your laugh, unexpected visits, funny birthday cards, the way you carried yourself when you were wearing something new, your stories of family, your skill at identifying any car on the road, our long rides to nowhere. Most of all I will miss the strength that I could draw from your attitude and determination. You were so tough and yet so kind.

The neighborhood feels empty, yet at the same time, I’m celebrating “lucky you”; no more pain, no politics. no worries about the economy, health care, or the lunatics that emerge from time to time, no extreme weather, no holiday pressure. Thank you sweet lady. Thank you for your friendship. It was so easy to love you and it will be impossible to forget you.

My darling Joy, you started out as my friend. Then you became my mother-in-law. When I lost my own dear Mother 10 years ago you came to me and told me you would be my Mom now. You will never know how much that meant to me.
I will miss your smile, your kindness, your stories and your wonderful sense of humor. Even though it is so hard to lose you, I was truly blessed to have you in my life. Your name fits you because you were a Joy to everyone that knew you.
Rest in the peace of the Lord, my dear Mom. I will love you forever.
Much love, Diana

Joy. Although I was just getting to know you, you were clearly my kind of woman. No airs, plain talk, kind and loving and welcoming, and no qualms about saying when you were pissed off. You will be sorely missed.

I went to HS with Joy, but being the bashful type, never said much to her. Then of course we graduated and went our different ways. At our 50th Class Reunion, she walked over to me, sat down and introduced herself and we commenced to chat for at least an hour. She was a real Joy (pun intended) and we parted the evening promising each other we would talk at the next reunion. Events occur that changed the most sincere of plans, but I have great memories of her and may she rest in peace. Condolences from the Gill family to her family and know that our thoughts and prayers are with them. Sincerely; … Lynn & Sara Gill; Lake City, FL

As a school mate Joy was always a pleasant person. I know we were in HS together but don’t recall if we started grade school together or not. Although did not continued our friendship after HS, I non-the-less have good memories of her. I send my condolences to her family.
