Frances Mary Fritzler

Born May 10, 1932, in the Bronx, New York, daughter of the late Francis and Loretta Costello passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at age 82.

Surviving are: 4 children, Theresa Taylor, Maureen Fritzler, John (Bridget) Fritzler, and Margaret (Scott) Rathbun; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson, Bronson Taylor; brothers, Francis (Donna) Costello and Robert (Peg) Healey along with many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Frances was preceded in death by 3 children, Loretta Stevens, Kathleen Szemer, and Michael Fritzler; 2 grandsons, Michael Taylor and Juston Szemer; sister, Loretta Flohr and brothers, Jim and Jack Costello.

Frances was a full blooded Irish Catholic Lass whom was born and raised in the Bronx and was proud of it. She graduated from Rockaway High School and earned her Associates Degree from Lansing Community College. She retired from AT&T following many years as a customer service representative. Frances was a longtime member of St. Casimir Catholic Parish, having sung in their choir for many years. She loved music and cooking, but most of all her family.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. William Lugger at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014, at St. Casimir Catholic Parish, 815 Sparrow Ave., Lansing. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
