Elizabeth "Beth" Lott

Age 80, of Lansing, passed away February 13, 2012 in East Lansing.  She was born December 28, 1931 in Lansing to Harry and Irene Good.  Beth was an Analyst for the State of Michigan Department of Social Services retiring after 25 years of service.  She was a Docent at Potter Park Zoo where she enjoyed giving tours and going on outreach visits.  Beth loved serving guests at the McRee House, and helping people at the Ingham Regional Medical Center gift shop.  She enjoyed world travel, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Rick (Cricket) Lott, Robert Lott, and Ronald Lott; grandchildren: Tom (Lisa) Lott, Lana (Mike) Ruthruff, Jennifer Lott, and Mark Lott; and great-grandchildren: Kameron, Joshua, Rachael, Alyssa, Angelique, Jaheim, and Jeremiah.

There will be a memorial service 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel with Pastor Paul DenHerder officiating. A memorial visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Potter Park Zoo.

I am so thankful for having Grandma Beth a part of my life. She treated me a like a grandson, and was such a wonderful woman. She got me involved at Potter’s Park as a young teenager and helped me develop a strong work ethic. I will miss her very much. My condolences to your family. I love you guys.
