Donna B. Reynolds“Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there…”

Age 92, passed away November 14, 2014.  She was born April 9, 1922, in Madison Township, MI, to Willard Danford and Wilma Estelle (Tuttle) Cornell.  Donna graduated from Flint Central High School and married Clarence Allen Reynolds, Jr. on May 23, 1942.  She was a member of Holt United Methodist Church, First United Methodist Church of Gilbert, AZ, and an associate of Christ United Methodist Church in Lansing.    She enjoyed RVing, painting, reading, spending winters in Arizona, and lots of crafts.  Donna volunteered at Ingham Medical Hospital since 1982.

Donna’s husband, Clarence, preceded her in death on May 11, 2002.  Surviving are:  3 daughters, Sharon (Dennis) Ahler, Shirley (Pat) Couture, and Barbara (Wayne) Potter; son, Clarence “Al” (Michelle) Reynolds, III; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with Pastor Michele Childs officiating.  Interment will take place in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Donna Reynolds.

I will remember most that laugh of hers. She enjoyed life everyday. May she rest in peace with her husband and smile down upon us. Our Father which aren’t in heaven…..AMEN.

She was always an inspiration to me. So Independant and always strong. She will forever be in our hearts. I love you Grandma.
