I haven’t seen Darrel in years but remember the fond memories from my childhood growing up down the street from him. Virginia babysat a bunch of the neighborhood kids and living in the “country” was a great place to be. Also, he and I were in a group of kids that hung around together in high school. I saw his mother Virginia several years ago and we reminisced about the “good old days”. I’m so sorry to hear about his passing. May God bless him.

Met Darrel thru an old girlfriend of his (Betty) & we became friends almost immediately. He always carried a smile & could make you laugh for no reason at all. We shared a lot of fun times out in East Lansing when he lived out here and he became a really good friend to my brother in law Steve Murray who has since passed as well. I know they are happy to be together again & u will truly be missed my friend.
