Cousins, No more sorrow and pain for Aunt Betty, may the Lord bless those of us left behind. We’ll all meet on the other side. I’ll miss the million-dollar smiles, hugs, and smooches from the woman who taught me how to tie my shoes, encouraged me to write, and gave me somewhere to run away to a quiet place of love.

As you celebrate the going home of your Mom, you grieve the absence of her presence, you walk in the valley and Jesus is there. Praying you sense His presence and comfort.

Debbie, Janell, Tricia and families,

I would have loved to give my sentiments in person, but didn’t read the obit until too late.

Your mother was such a sweet lady. I enjoyed being around her as a teen when Deb and I hung out together. She was such a good friend to my mom! They poured out their hearts to each other on the phone countless times through the years. When Mom was afflicted with dementia and couldn’t drive, your Mom took her lots of places; church, the Rescue Mission to do auxillary work, to name a couple. It was a great comfort to me to know Betty was helping to watch out for Mom when I was so far away! It is a comfort now to know the sweet fellowship those too dear friends are having with each other and with Jesus! It is also a comfort to know that our Lord will be with you in your sorrow. i know you will miss her a alot! Praying for you all, Love, emily

I am so sorry for your loss.

On Saturday April 13 I drove past the family home around 5:00 and noticed all the cars in the driveway. I suspected Betty had passed away. So many of us from the class of 1969 have seen our parents move on to their new home with the Lord. Isn’t it great they are in heaven today:)

I pray that God will provide you all with His peace and comfort in the days ahead.

Betty was such a great neighbor since we moved across the street in 1991. We enjoyed watching her on her John Deere in her sun hat. She had the ambulance drive by our house when it was being torn down after our fire. She didn’t miss a thing! She will surely be missed.
Condolences to the family.
