Arlene J. Fuller

Age 80, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 2, 2015. She was born April 27, 1935, in Bangor, MI, to the late Robert, Sr. and Reva Baker.

Arlene was a former employee of Sears and Roebuck Co. for 20+ years. She was very involved with South Church and their missionary and hospitality committees. She also sang in the church choir. Arlene was a loving wife, mother, homemaker and excellent seamstress. She could do it all!

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Leonard R. Fuller; children, Diane (Randy) Sellhorn, Carla (Robbie Willis) Teagarden-Willis and Denise (Paul) Platte; 3 grandsons, Tyler (Brooke) Sellhorn, Isaac (Kelsey) Platte and Luke Platte; 4 great-grandchildren, Bradley, Timothy, Jillian and Rebecca Sellhorn; brother, Robert (Sandy) Baker, Jr.; sister, Jeannette Hettinger; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2015, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with Pastor David Rosenberg officiating. Her family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Rest Home, 1000 Edison Ave. NW, Grand Rapids, MI  49504.

Such a wonderful lady, it is so good to hear that she is finally home with our Lord. I wish Pat and I could be at the memorial service, but with my kidney failure, dialysis and now shingles it leaves me with to little energy. God will bless you all, and give much grace at this time
