Betty Jean lived a remarkably full life always pursuing her many gifts with much Joy and Enthusiasm!  While raising her family and attending MSU, she earned a BA (1960), MA (1965), and taught school for 20 years. After retirement, with music always in her heart and soul, she happily played her trumpet again with the “Second Time Around Band” and the “Caravan Circus Pickup Band” lasting 30 years!  Betty Jean is deeply loved and is now in God’s Loving Arms.

Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on November 2, 2012, at Saint David’s Episcopal Church, 1519 Elmwood Road, Lansing, MI 48917. A luncheon follows for all. Contributions in Betty’s name may be made to the church. Arrangements by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

My heartfelt wishes for Mrs. Frost’s family. She was my teacher at Otto she taught me all that I could absorb about Greek Methology. She was a very special teacher and a very special person, so much so that one semester I not only took her class but was her aide for an additional hour. I have thought of her fondly from time to time and even had the good fortune to run into to her a few years back and was able to tell her how much she meant to me!!
