Age 23, passed away May 29, 2012.  He was born May 31, 1988, in Lansing, MI.  Brent attended school in Holt and Potterville, and graduated from Mohave High School in Bullhead City, AZ, in 2007, when he joined the U.S. Air Force, achieving the rank of Senior Airman.

Surviving are:  mother, Jane Mayotte-Wilburn of Alabama; father, Scott (Tressa) Tausz of Eaton Rapids; brothers, Andrew (Glynnis) Major of Louisiana, Timothy (Samantha Marshall) Tausz of Louisiana and Evan Tausz of Eaton Rapids; sisters, Victoria (Albert) Colden of Alabama and Heather Tausz of Washington; grandmothers, Connie Tausz of Mason and Sharron (James) Fenn of Kalkaska; 3 nieces and 1 nephew, as well as many extended family, including:  step-siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his Air Force brothers and sisters, especially Justin Trammel and Bryce Umbel.  He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Geno Tausz, Jr., and Norman John Mayotte.

Brent’s family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, where there will be eulogies beginning at 7:00 p.m.  A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans in memory of Brent Tausz.
