Deena and Family: I am so grateful to have spent a wonderful day with all of you a year ago in the restaurant. Mark has left a beautiful legacy in his family of whom I know he was very proud.

May you take solace in knowing his pain and suffering has ended and he is once again in his mother’s loving arms. The coming weeks and months will be difficult for you all; I pray God will hold you all in his arms and give you the strength to get through this.

I loved Mark, and because he so loved you all, I love you too. God Bless you all.

Deena and family,
What an inspiration Mark was to all of us. His faith in God and love for all of you, his courageous fight with his illness has brought us all closer together. He is at peace now in God and his mother’s hands.

It was so nice to meet your nice family last year at the reunion at the restaurant. Your family has been in our prayers everyday since Mark got sick. We will continue to pray for your family at such a heartbreaking time. Mark will be watching over you from heaven.

Deena & kids: I am so greatful that Mark is now in the capable hands of Our Loving Savior!!!! I look forward to that future family reunion & be able to be with all of our dear loved ones… I will always remember Mark with that big smile on his face, chuckling about something, and sometimes even at himself! A sweetheart of a man with a beautiful heart, always so generous. We were very blessed to have had him in our lives. May God wrap his mighty wings around all of you & comfort you. See you soon. HUGS, “gramma” Jill.

Our hearts go out to you Deena and Brogan. Although we did not live long in Dewitt your family was one that welcomed us from the begining. Brogan you always greeted me with a big hug and Deena with a welcome smile as did Mark. I hope your tears are soon replaced with memories of the heart. Brogan, Austin always spoke highly of you and enjoyed playing football and lacrosse with you. Faith and friends will see you through,

with much love, Carmen, Ray Knick and Austin Sietz

My deepest sympathies to Mark`s wife Deena, his children and my cousins, origionally from Marquette, MI.
I will remember Mark as a young and funny guy. I went with him and Tammy to my very first concert, Cheap Trick. I had the best time. I only wish we had kept in touch. I will miss you Mark. Make sure to say hi to my mom and dad and your dad, my Uncle Paul.
