I just heard of Jan’s passing. I called her on Tuesday to say that I would be in Va. over Christmas and that I would stop by to see her as soon as I got back. She was looking forward to spendeing Christmas with the family.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you today and over the Holidays.
Jan and I were great friends for many years and I will miss her greatly and I know all of you will also.
Time heals so much and you have so many wonderful memories to keep in your hearts forever.

Just received word of Jan’s passing before Christmas. Many of her “Red Hat” friends in our senior park had just signed a card with a note expressing how much we missed her and keeping her in our prayers. She received that note just 10 days ago. Many of us talked frequently by phone to her after she left Tucson. Now we are all grieving over losing Jan.
What a delight to be around. Always a kind word. So full of life. What energy! I will miss her laugh, her beautiful smile, long chats on the phone, our trips around Arizona, her voice. Her friendship.
I share with all Jan’s family and friends this loss but also the enduring memories of Jan. A very special lady.

Our hearts, prayers and sympathy go out to Jan’s family.
She was a lovely, kind, sweet lady who touched many lives in Tucson. She was part of our Red Hat Society. We had many laughs and lots of fun. Our little dog, Jasmine, loved “Aunt Jan”. Jasmine would stand on her hind feet whenever we passed her home while walking. She wanted to go in to see “Aunt Jan”.
She will be missed terribly but I know where she is and who she is with. She loved the Lord. She is out of her pain and suffering. To be absent from the body is to be face to face with Jesus. We will see her again someday.

Our very sincere condolences to Jan’s family – our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We were so saddened to hear of her passing.
She was a wonderful, gracious lady who had such a zest for life and was a wonderful conversationalist! She was always searching for new avenues to explore and I’m sure she is now hiking all over heaven just to get acquainted with her new surroundings. We loved sharing her adventures with her – not the least of which was a trip down to Tubac, AZ. to plan a Red Hatter outing. As we drove (and she insisted on doing the driving) we talked about all we saw as we traveled south from Tucson. And on the way back, we even planned another trip down there to go hiking.
We know all her family and friends are feeling the loss of a very dear person, as we are here in Tucson. She will always be in our hearts……

What a pleasure it was to know Jan. On our walks about the park, we frequently met Jan and chatted with her. She was a special lady in many ways.

I enjoyed talking with Jan about MI, as my hometown is Traverse City, so we both enjoyed the area, as well as our home here in RCMHP in Tucson. She will be missed.
