Mary Lou Walworth

Age 78, of Okemos, MI and Marco Island, FL, passed away on November 17, 2011. She was born November 5, 1933, in Grand Rapids, MI, to Napoleon J. and Katherine Seymour.

She attended Mt. Mercy Academy in Grand Rapids and Michigan State University. Mary Lou was an accomplished artist and gardener, and was a longtime member of The Peoples Church of East Lansing.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William M. Walworth, Jr., and her four daughters and their families: Mary and Luis Navarro, Bill and Andrew of Columbus; Ann Waters, James and Paul of Naples; Patty and Brett Bean of Haslett, Katie Atkins (David) of Okemos and Kyle Kozak of Grand Rapids; Jane and Thomas Piper of Laingsburg. She is also survived by her great-granddaughter Madison Lou Atkins, her sisters Rosemond Seymour RSM of Farmington Hills, Sharon (Bob) Goeldel of Lowell, and her brother John (Pat) Seymour of New Windsor, New York.

Visitation will be at Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will held at The Peoples Church of East Lansing, 200 W. Grand River, East Lansing at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 with The Rev.
