Age 64, of Haslett, passed away August 09, 2011. She was born August 6, 1947 in Geneseo, IL to Ebert and Gladys Johnson. Patricia had lived in the Bloomington, IN area from the late 1960s until 2001.

She was employed with Ameritech until her retirement in 1999. Her family and church family were a big part of her life. She battled breast cancer for several years but did not let that stop her love of life. She enjoyed God, family, friends, food, travel and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lyle of Haslett; son, Robert Lyle and Anne Marie Huppenthal of Crown Point, IN; granddaughter, Skylar Huppenthal-Lyle; brothers, Larry (Candy) Johnson of Knoxville, TN and Terry (Diane) Johnson of East Lansing; and nieces, nephews and church family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew Matthew.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel with Mrs. Marilyn Parmelee officiating; interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or to the family.

    Jennifer and Bobby- Your mother was a wonderful woman who was loved by many. she had this infectious laugh/smile. Dr. Kap wanted me to let you know how sorry he is for your loss (he is out of town and not able to get to the computer). We missed you all when you moved away from the Ellettsville community.
