Born December 26, 1932 in Palo, Michigan daughter of the late Irl and Ruth (Kreeger) Wilson died on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the age of 78. Marilyn retired from First of America Bank and was a longtime Sparrow Volunteer.

Survivors include children, Terry (Tina) Olmstead, Tammy (Ray) Kussmaul, Faith (Kim) Peterson, Connie (Richard) Clark; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Olmstead in 1992 and her son, Roger Olmstead in 2007.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road, with the Rev. Ernestine Griffin officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in memory of Marilyn, may be made to the Michigan Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association or Heartland Hospice.  Arrangements by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
