Lois E. Curtis, of Lansing, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at the age of 83.  She was born November 25, 1927 in Lansing.

She loved bowling, golf, and playing bridge, and was a great square dancer.  She enjoyed watching sports, especially the MSU Spartans.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Stanley Curtis; children, Thomas (Pam) Curtis and William Curtis; daughter-in-law, Mary Anne Curtis; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark) VanderVeen, Kevin (Jamie) Curtis, Dustin (Brooke) Curtis, and Kira Curtis; six great-grandchildren; brother, Jim (Carol) Wingerter; sister, Jackie Rydman.  She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Curtis.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.  Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-6 p.m. Thursday.

    We will miss you forever, mom. Thanks to all of those who shared their memories with me and the rest of the family. I was especially glad that Kira came. It’s been too long since I have seen her. Dad was especially thankful for all of you who helped put together the service. Thanks again… Bill
