Age 67, of Lansing, MI, passed away November 14, 2016. She was born October 17, 1949, in Lansing, MI, to Ernest and Bernice Janetzke.

Carolyn worked as an account tech for the State of Michigan – State Police for 45 years. She retired in 2014. She enjoyed stamping as a craft, camping, and riding in the speed boat. She loved her and her husband’s classic Mustang. Carolyn was a charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband of almost 31 years, Gary Bush; 2 stepchildren, Christopher and Cheryl Bush; 5 grandchildren; and 2 nieces, Vicki and Laurie. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother and 1 sister.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 7910 E. St. Joe Hwy., Lansing. Inurnment will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church or Eaton Community Palliative Care.

    We are shocked to have received this news, but we rejoice in Carol’s resurrection to eternal life and the reunions she is having with Uncle Ernie, Aunt Peggy, Betty and Danny. The Lord promises, “I will not leave you comfortless.”
