At the age of 78, Eva went to be with her Lord on November 4, 2016. She was born on December 23, 1937, in Hayti, MO, to George and Erma Babb.

Eva was married to Billie Joe Thompson for 48 years. He passed away in 2013. Also preceding her in death were her parents, sons Rickey and Mickey, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.

She enjoyed crafts, loved her Bible study gatherings and singing, and loved sports, especially watching the Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to family gatherings and attending reunions. Family meant everything.

I know that your happy now, in there presence of God, Jesus and all if your loved ones… Your with Papa, your son’s and your parents and the rest of the family now…. I’m happy for you. But I am sad Grandma…. And I won’t ever be the same. I’ll miss your voice, your laugh, your smile and your smell. I will miss the cards and the candy and the sweet tea…. The times you would sing with me and read me your poems, I just can’t believe your gone…..
