Okemos, Michigan

Barbara Diane Wegner Greenstein, age 80, loving sister of Marcia (John) Eulenberg, passed away June 29, 2016, in Okemos, Michigan. Marcia and John were with her, and she was comforted by the skilled, loving, and compassionate angels on the staff of the Ingham County Medical Care Facility, where Barbara had lived for seven years.

Barbara was born June 13, 1936, in Cambridge, MA, to Leo and Bertha (Murmes) Wegner. Barbara grew up in Newton, MA, and graduated from Newton High School in 1954.  She graduated from Simmons College in 1958 and spent most of her career in human resources in the Boston area.

She leaves her sister, Marcia (John) Eulenberg, niece Rachel (Mitchell) Williams, nephew Alexander (Ariadna Solovyova) Eulenberg, grandnieces and grandnephews Veronica and Ivan Eulenberg, and Elizabeth, Asher, Colin and Simone Williams, and many cousins.

A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, Rabbi Amy Bigman officiating, followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Mount Hope Road, Lansing, MI.
