Jane Rose Steinhauer

Lansing, Michigan.

On June 2, 2016, at the age of 79, Jane became a Blushing Bride when she was reunited with her one true love in heaven, Gordon Steinhauer. She was born July 26, 1936, in Lansing, to Louis and Louise Evans.

Jane retired from AT&T and was a proud lifetime member of the Communication Workers of America (CWA).

She is survived by her children, Randy (Angie) Steinhauer, Pamela (Michael Kevin) Beach, Carol (William) Wilkins; grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda) Beach, Angela Beach, Korey (Michael) Barker, Aaron (Stacy) Beach, Stacy Steinhauer, Jared Wilkins, Kayla Wilkins, Ashley Geshrick, Jessica Carroll and Joleen Carroll; her great-grandchildren, the apples of her eye, Madalynn Rose Beach, Michael Beach, Jack Barker, Lucy Barker and Lincoln Beach; sister, Dorothy Hagan; good friend, Pat Riley; and a host of nieces and nephews who she held close to her heart. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon; her parents; and 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

A celebration of Jane’s life will be held from 3:00 – 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice House of Mid-Michigan. Online condolences may be left for her family at www.EstesLeadley.com

To Pam and her siblings, So sorry to hear of your loss. Your mom was a happy outgoing person. I hadn’t seen her in awhile but she always made you feel good and always with a smile on her face, ready to tell a joke when I did see her. I’m sure she left you with many good memories which will help you through this sorrowful time and should we ask for more? God’s blessings to all of you. Dee Tabor
