Age 78, of Dimondale, MI, passed away on April 17, 2016. She was born in Lansing on December 12, 1937, the daughter of Arthur and Ann (Scahill) Cosgrove. She was a 1957 graduate of Resurrection High School, and was retired from the State of Michigan as a Supervisor in the Dept. of Social Services. She was a beloved mother, and dearly loved her grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughter, Pamela McNamara Jones; 2 grandchildren, Lindsay Jones and Tyler McNamara; great-granddaughter, Kaiden Enos; brother, Hugh (Cindy) Cosgrove; 3 sisters, Ellen Gable, Mary Jackson and Eileen Milliman; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dogs, Bella and Gizmo. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald in 2001 and a son Jerry in 2007.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

    Dearest Pam and family, I as so very sorry to hear of Anne’s passing, my heart goes out to you. I will never forget her kind words, sweet smile and her always being so happy. I loved our special chats and will miss those heart to heart talks. I will be praying that your memories of Anne and the love of family and friends will get you through this most difficult time.
