Age 85, of Lansing, MI, passed away March 20, 2016. He was born May 18, 1930, in Lansing, to Spiro and Getcha Vasiloff.

Karl graduated from Alma College in 1952, and U of M Law School is 1955. He worked as a lawyer for the National Academy of Science, The Federal Trade Commission, The General Counsels Office – Department of the Navy, as an assistant attorney generalĀ for the state of Michigan, and then as a federal judge for both the Department of the Interior and the Department of Defense.

His family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Following the visitation, there will be a procession to Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing for a graveside service.

    To the Vasiloff Family,
    Karl was so enjoyable to converse with, discuss current events and most of all, to learn from. He was a unique intellect and his opinions were valued greatly. He was a great neighbor in WV for over 20 years and we were blessed to call him a friend.
