Papaw I loved you dearly and will miss you with all of my heart. I am sorry I didn’t get to spend as much time with you as I wanted to, but I am grateful that I got to spend your last few days with you! I know you are up in heaven playing music with the rest of the family. I think that is one thing we will all remember about you. That reminds me of a funny story…when you guys were playing music at my wedding reception. You were playing for quite a while, and then you said something about people weren’t listening (maybe they were tipsy and being loud, I am not sure) so you went out in the hallway and started to play out there instead! Now that is dedication to music!! ;) Also I am sending love from McKayla, Elijah, and Hunter who will surely miss you as well!
