Went to be with his Lord and Savior at age 83, on March 3, 2016.  He was born November 16, 1932, in Mason, MI to Howard and Roxina Merna Grewett.

William retired after 36 years of working for Oldsmobile as a Senior Engineering Special Tester at the General Motors Proving Ground.  He enjoyed his years at Oldsmobile and playing golf.  He loved music, listening to it, singing in the church choir and weddings and playing the trumpet.

He is survived by Judith, his wife of 61 years; sons, Jeffrey (Deborah) Grewett and family and Joel Grewett and family; and supportive in-laws.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers, Richard and Gail.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Wednesday at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
