Eleasar GarzaAge 75, passed away January 18, 2011. He was born on April 16, 1935, in Brownsville, TX, a son of Roman, and Maria Garza. Eleasar served in the Air Force during the Korean War and retired from Motor Wheel Corporation. He was a devoted member of Mt. Hope Church.

   He is survived by his wife, Della; 4 children, Valerie (Joe) Raser, Eleasar Garza, Jr., Elliott Garza, and Rodney (Christa) Garza; 6 grandchildren, Dennis Wilcox, Jeremiah Needham, Joshua Needham, Melissa Garza, Jillian Garza and Hannah Garza; 3 great-grandchildren, Connor, Evelyn and Grace; 2 brothers, Raymond (Esther) Garza and Edward (Ruby) Garza; 2 sisters, Flora Trevino and Nifa Velasquez; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Lupe Garza and Onofrane Garza; and sister, Maria Walters. He will be missed by all his family, especially his special granddaughter, Jillian.

   The graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m.  Friday, January 21, 2011, at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. Visitation will be at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 3-5 p.m. Thursday.

    grandpa i miss you so much, I’m always thinking of you and chito. I miss your laugh and your john wayne movies. i miss you sooo much!!! i hope you and chito are having a good time walking the streets of gold. the family is not the same anymore holidays are hard and i am always thinking about you-jero
