Joyce E. Laxton

Age 84, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away October 23, 2015. Joyce was born April 11, 1931, in Lansing, to Victor and Bernice Gregg. She loved to garden and bake, and take care of her cats, but she especially enjoyed being around her family. She will truly be missed!

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 60 years, Larry L. Laxton; and her son, Ronald Lee Laxton. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Robert) Blake; daughter-in-law, Barb Laxton; grandson, Connor Blake; and brother, Neil (Sharon) Gregg.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or to the Hospice House of Mid-Michigan.
