Goldie loved to read, paint and the most important thing to her was the love of her family. She retired from food services at MSU after several years of service.
Goldie was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Albert Panetta; parents, Donald and Hazel (Goffnett) DeHart; brothers, Ernest DeHart and Gerald DeHart; and son-in-law, Douglas Duffy. She is survived by her daughters, Shellie (Max) Clem and Marce Duffy; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Bowen; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel with Pastor Fred Froman of Holt Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 12:00 on Friday at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care or McLaren Hospice in memory of Goldie Panetta.
