Helen D. Denison

Age 97, of  Holt, Michigan, passed away June 7, 2015. Helen was born August 25, 1917, in Ironton, Ohio, the daughter of the late James and Grace Gannon.

Helen is survived by her 2 children, Donetta (Tom) Zander of Mason and Michael (Shelby) Denison of Ashland, KY; grandson, Chris Young; siblings, Oscar (Mary) Gannon, Frank (Henrietta) Gannon, Wanda (Paul) Schwab and Gary (Pat) Gannon; and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald O. Denison and several siblings. The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Craft Care Home in Holt for their excellent and compassionate care.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Craft Care Home in Holt.
