Gabor Kemeny
Gabor Kemeny was born in 1933 in Budapest, Hungary, died May 21, 2015, in Okemos MI. He served on the faculty at Michigan State University from 1968 to 1998 in the fields of Theoretical Physics and Biophysics.
He is survived by his wife, Katy, his daughter, Nicole, and 3 grandchildren. His humor, intelligence, and kindness will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. The family will receive visitors at the Kemeny home for seven days, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice or Congregation Kehillat Israel.
