Lois Ann King Lintern

Lois Ann King Lintern, born 3/21/27, Berea, OH, died 3/30/15, East Lansing, MI. Lois was the beloved wife of John Caldwell Lintern (d. 2/14/10), and loving mother of Richard (Donna) Lintern (d. 4/9/13), Susan (Michael) Dunkelberger, and Pamela Lintern. “Granny” was dearly loved by her grandchildren, Casey L. (Michael) Rogers, J. Garrett Fletcher, R. Kirk (Sarah) Lintern, Allison C. Fletcher, Susan L. (Josh) Marx, Katherine K. McTavish, Ashley C. McTavish, and great-grandchildren Eva M. Rogers, Perry C. Rogers, Reid K. Lintern. She is survived by her brother Claude F. (Mary) King of Vashon Island, WA.

Lois was a dedicated wife, mother, friend, community volunteer and an ardent supporter of THE Ohio State University. Through her life she gave her time and service to the American Cancer Society; as an Electoral Judge for the Village of Kirtland Hills, OH; and served on numerous committees and as Resident Board President of the Burcham Hills Retirement Community.

Above all else, “Gran” will be remembered for her abiding commitment to and love for her family, respect for others, strength of will, and unfailing sense of humor. Lois has always been, and will always remain an inspiration and role model for navigating life’s journey.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Mentor, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Community Church (www.christcommunitylansing.org) to the Burcham Hills Retirement Community (www.burchamhills.com), Great Lakes Caring Hospice (www.greatlakescaring.com), or American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
