“Trudy” was my best friends mom and my other “mom”. I spent so many years with her at Karin’s house. She was a sweet and loving person who would do anything she possibly could for you anytime. As I grew up she cared for my children, in her special way, just as she did for me as a child. “Grandma Trudy” was a beautiful soul and will have a special place in Heaven.

Although it’s been many years since I’ve had contact with Trudy, (and I regret very much not taking the time to visit) I will never forget the many times spent at the Kitchen table in Trudy’s house in Hastings, or the hours of conversation I’ve had with Trudy, and never an unkind word do I remember. (Ken and I certainly deserved a few)
Thank You for being my second Mother and providing a safe haven for all of us little hellraisers back in the day.

We will always remember the good times spent with Trudy. A few weeks ago we were talking about heading over to see her but hadn’t done it yet. We used to help out with yard work, sit around the kitchen table and just hang out. You will be missed Trudy by all. The driver’s at Barry County Transit used to fight over who was going to pick you up. We all love you and will miss you much.
