Age 65, of Lansing, died December 24, 2010. He was born on May 31, 1945 in Carson City the son of Caroll and Ilene O’Connell.

Philip was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sandy O’Connell and his parents and grandparents. He is survived by three children, Aaron, Adam and Anna Rose; brothers and sisters, Rick (Mary) O’Connell, Rosie (Tom) Proctor, Ilene (David) Nichols, Colleen (Bob) Stoudt, Michael (Kim) O’Connell and Mark O’Connell; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

A private family service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Veterans of America. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

    Phil you will be greatly missed, You were a wonderful father and grandfather to the boys, I know Philip (Your pride and joy) is going to miss you badly. But we know you are now at peace and with mom again. I hope you too will find each other and love again. We’ll miss and love you forever.
