Gary R. Wagner

Age 72, of Mason, Michigan, died January 7, 2015.  He was born August 20, 1942 in Lansing, MI, to the late Edwin and Doris Wagner. Gary grew up in Devils Lake, MI. He started his career working for Diamond Rio and eventually retired from CATA after many years of service.  Gary loved old cars and was a firm believer in the idea that cars were meant for driving not showing. He was a constant tinkerer – Gary always thought that he could make it better. He was a lifetime mechanic, always working on and fixing things.

He is survived by sons, Todd Wagner, Guy (Raeann) Wagner, Paul Wagner, Bruce (Jenifer) Wagner; grandchildren, Zackaurrie, Josselynn, Havannah, Morgan, and soon to arrive Wyatt; brother, Gordon (Jeri) Wagner; sisters, Carol June and Karen Hollyfield; as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a great-niece and brother-in-law Pat June.

The family invites friends to gather at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel on Saturday, January 10, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., to share stories about Gary and visit with the family.
