Erich M. Beurmann
Age 83, passed away on December 23, 2014. He was born in Lansing on December 29, 1930, to Ronald and Dorthey (Spalding) Beurmann. He graduated from East Lansing High School and was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. He was an owner of Beurmann-Marshall Co.; and a member of the Automobile Club of Lansing.
Surviving are his wife, Sidney; daughter, Heidi (Donald) Poley of Grand Blanc; 2 sons, Robert Beurmann of East Lansing, and Ronald (Beth) Beurmann of Jackson; 6 grandchildren, Erich (Jenean), Matthew, and Vanessa Poley, Ross, Bradley, and Melissa Beurmann; 2 great-grandchildren, Brezlyn and Reese Poley; sister, Johannah (Louis) Dortch of Grand Blanc; sister-in-law, Ann Leise of Long Beach, CA; and nieces and nephews.
There will be no service. Memorial contributions may be to: Leader Dogs for the Blind, Memorial Dept., P.O. Box 5000, Rochester, MI 48308-5000; or Hospice of Lansing, Inc., 4052 Legacy Parkway, Suite 200, Lansing, MI 48911. Arrangements by Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.
