Luba Bauer

Luba Bauer passed away peacefully September 25, 2014.  Luba was born March 14, 1926, in Sofia, Bulgaria.  She worked as a chef at Michigan State University where she retired from, after 23 years.  Her passion for cooking, gardening and love of animals was known to all who knew her.  Luba was also a devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Nada Bauer; brother, Alexander Bauer; and twin sister, Eleanor (Bauer) Miteff.   Luba is survived by her brother-in-law, sister-in-law, four nieces, one nephew and numerous great and great, great nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the staff at Grandhaven Living Center and Patty from Hometown Hospice for the loving care they provided Luba.  A private burial will be held at a later date.
