Very sorry to hear of Eric’s passing. I worked with Eric at GM, not only at plant 3 but also went to GR the same time he did. Didn’t get to know him til later in our years there. Later I would run into him getting his morning coffee at Speedway. He would be heading to the Lansing Center, which ironically, I saw him a few times there. Great guy. My sympathies to the family.

Hello to all my loving family. I miss you all very much. I haven’t talked to the majority of you for quite sometime but I currently live in California. My phone number is 678.365.7891.

To my Uncle Eric, I love you with all my heart. I was blessed with such a wonderful loving family as whole so I can honestly say that Uncle Eric along with all my other Uncles are my favorites. Uncle Eric was really special to me because he was cool and laid back. And he always supported and encouraged me no matter what it was that I was doing. When we’d come visit Michigan, we’d always have a blast. My memories of him great and he showed how strong he was by battling cancer for the last year. Now that he’s no longer here in the physical, I will miss him dearly but I believe in Jehovah God and Jesus Christ and pray that I will see my Uncle again. I really wish I could be there with the family but know I’m there in mind, heart and spirit. I have spoken to Uncle Cookie and made arrangements to speak to alot of the family Saturday.

Love Lance K. Goodman

I didn’t know Eric that well but I know that he made Tammy very happy so he must have been a great guy. She would always have a smile on her face when she talked about him. I wish they would have had more time together. Tammy my thoughts and prayers are with you and I am here if you need anything.

Yeah, Eric was smooth alright! We fondly referred to him by his nickname coming up, “Gaba”. I don’t know who gave him that nickname, but it sure did suit him! What a smile he flashed with those brilliant white teeth of his! Strong and courageous to the very end. Much loved and much missed, and never forgotten! Your Cousin, Darya
