I am the boyfriend of Dave’s neice Michelle. Though I never had the pleasure of meeting Uncle Dave, the generosity and kindness he extended to both Michelle and I spoke volumes of what a kind, gentle good human being he truly was. Rest in Peace Uncle Dave.

As a very young boy in the late 50’s, Dave & my uncle were good friends. To me he was Dippie (Davie). At age 11, my Grandpa was teaching me to drive. On my 1st solo down the alley, Dave drove up to the house on his Police harley. As I pulled back in the driveway, he just smiled. What a relief. I have many fond memories of Dave at my Grandparents house.
RIP.

I also remember David coming by our house on his Harley and a police car. I have a picture of me sitting on the bike. One time, at a church play, I played a police officer, My mother was good friends with David. Ron Bailor is my brother. Anyway, my mother called his mother, and they were happy to let me use his police hat and jacket!
I remember a nice guy.. RIP David and God Bless your family.. Say hi to Grandma and Grandpa, I’m sure they were there to greet you!
