Fred H. Dunn, Jr.

Age 72, of Lansing, MI, passed away March 24, 2014. He was born September 23, 1941, in Lansing, son of Fred Sr. and Inger Dunn.

Fred proudly served as a nurse in the U.S. Army and went on to work at Ingham Medical as a nurse for 20 years. He retired in 1988 to take care of his sister and parents. He was a member of the Lansing Gem and Mineral Club, the Scandinavian Society, and he enjoyed photography.

He is survived by his brother, Larry Dunn; nephew, John David; many cousins; and other extended family members and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred H. Dunn, Sr. and Inger K. Dunn; sister, Karen G. Dunn; along with Betty Kennington.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to your local food bank.
